The internet is still a new medium to many people. I didn't start actviely searching and using the web until 1997. For many companies, this might be the first year that they are even online.

The fact remains that being online is not good enough. Sorry, simply having a website online, does not guarantee you will get web traffic. It does not even guarantee you will be found online, and it certainly won't guarantee that you will gather leads from your site, or like so many of us dream of actually selling merchandise, products or service right off their site.
